Wat Europa beter kan doen: Barroso is ingenomen met verslag over geslaagde methoden om administratieve lasten te beperken, en roept de lidstaten op om van elkaar te leren
Voorzitter Barroso ontving vandaag dr. Edmund Stoiber, de voorzitter van de groep van onafhankelijke belanghebbenden op hoog niveau inzake administratieve lasten. Stoiber overhandigde hem het verslag "Wat Europa beter kan doen", over geslaagde methoden in de lidstaten om EU-wetgeving uit te voeren met zo weinig mogelijk administratieve lasten.
De Commissie verzocht in augustus 2010 om dit verslag. Het bevat een lijst met 74 voorbeelden van geslaagde methoden – onder meer initiatieven op het vlak van e-overheid, slimme oplossingen voor kleine ondernemingen, rechtstreekse betrokkenheid van belanghebbenden, goede voorlichting en grensoverschrijdende initiatieven.
